NHS South West Essex's job is to improve health services and the health of the people of Basildon, Billericay, Brentwood, Thurrock and Wickford.
It's our role to ensure that there are enough GPs to provide for our area and make certain that other health services including hospitals, dentists, mental health care, NHS Direct, patient transport, screening, pharmacies and opticians are all available.
Our aim is to improve the health of the population of South West Essex, and ensure that the services you need are where you need them at a time convenient to you.
